Pekotek Inc., a Finnish company operating in North Karelia, has entered into a resale agreement with Richard Steen, which has been operating in Sweden and has been active in the industry for many years. The purpose of the dealership agreement is to bring Finnish know-how and professional skills to the Swedish market in cooperation with a local influencer.

Cooperation

The cooperation agreement was reached in October 2021, after the difficult years of COVID-19 pandemic.  Pekotek Inc. and Richard Steen are excited to start this cooperation, hoping that it will benefit both. Pekotek is gaining a foothold in the Nordic countries, and Richard Steen has new innovative know-how with Finnish professional skills. Cooperation has been established together even before the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, but the outbreak of the pandemic messed up and delayed export sales plans. On the basis, of the co-operation, the hope is to expand operations from Sweden to the Norwegian market, and later to other parts of the Nordic countries.

Richard Steen

Richard Steen has claimed itself as a company in the Swedish industry since 1972. Originally a subsidiary of Richars Steen & Sønn AS in Oslo, the company started its business with sandblasting machines and complete blasting lines.

Today, the subsidiary operates as a family business owned by Anna-Car and Mats Englund. The company supplies its customers with larger full-scale plants as well as various consumables and spare parts.
